Once upon a time there were 10 very logical pirates. These pirates had a particular way of splitting up any treasure they found. One pirate would propose a way to split up the gold between them and they would all vote on it. If the pirate got a majority of the votes (half or more) then his plan was accepted and that’s how they split up the gold that time. However, if his plan failed to win the vote he was tossed overboard to become shark food.

The pirates have just found 100 gold and now have to split it up. So they all line up and pirate 1 proposes first and then 2, then 3 and so on down the line till someone’s ideas is accepted. You are pirate 1, the 1st to propose a method, how do u split up the gold so that you maximize the gold you get and assure that u will not be thrown overboard. (Remember these are VERY logical pirates and all know how much gold they will receive in every scenario and what the maximum gold they can get is)
